Just a little side project car I have been working on. Car is originally a 4-cyl but sports a full '90 Mustang GT drivetrain swap. Has drag racing suspension set-up, basic bolt ons (intake, headers, exhaust), frame is tied, GT swaybars, Weld rims, upgraded fuel pump, etc.
The instant power is nice, but still not as nice as my TD06-20g powered Supra.
Next up is a quick paint job, some rust repair also (notice the bottom of both doors have surface rust).

i love fords all the day 5.0 is very reliable and quick the only thing is you have add some suspension mods or they will just burn out all day. I love that its a coupe though i want 1 when i sell my 60 comet. I have 5 freinds that have 5.0s there still waitn for my supra to be done so i can pull hard on them in the oldskool... :evil2:

Yeah, my Supra pulls this Mustang like it is going out of style. But I do enjoy the exhaust note of 5.0s.

Well, stock hood had some rust, chips and rock dents on it... Found this one on a local part out.

Fair enough. It's not like OMGWTF I'd rather make one out of wood!

It's just not my style. lol

^ I agree with you, Quin. The smooth, rounded lines of the Cobra R hood don't flow well with the sharp lines of the fox body Mustang. But it was cheap and on hand. I am a cheap MKIII Supra owner :biglaugh:

Except you can actually be cheap with a Fox and still be reliable and fast. lol

Ha ha, so true. You know, I am amazed at how cheap parts are for this Fox then they are for my Supra. Not to mention, working on the Fox is sooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier (way more room to manuver).

You wouldn't say that if you installed a turbo kit on that bad boy. Looks good. I've always been a big fan of notch backs.

There's always some kind of fox body turbo kit on www.turbomustangs.com for sale. Cheap too. Have a gander, and do it.... do it!

Cheaper, faster, easier to work on but not built quite as well overall.
You can get a decent turbo kit from ponydown.net or bgturbokits... few others and the performance is crazy, but then again youve already got a turbo'd supra so whats the need?

Ive had mostly sn95's, new edges and one fox...all far from stock...and miss and want another one as playtoy and of late fox's both gt and notch have caught my eye (no lx hatches tho!)

I agree with the need for a different hood tho. Never liked that hood even on sn95's
