Late 80's BMW 3-series.
Sorry in advance for the massive picture... but this car was too good not to post.

that giant picture is an e30 m3, ironically it is almost a totally different car,but you guys get the idea. me and a buddy of mine are going to do this if we can figure out the details. his 90 e30 and my extra 7m.

Um no, that pic is not an M3 E30. The M3 had different: fenders, trunk lid set up, 5 lugs, and spoiler. as in the pic below. If you guys do this, keep us informed!

My friend had an '88 E30 ix that was awesome. I love the seats in those cars, too. He had a weld separate right before the muffler, so he cut the muffler off the car and left just two pipes coming out of the car. Sounded so bad ass, that raspy BMW sound.

The IX is great, if you need 4 wheel drive. But they are hella heavy for an E30. I agree, I love the bimmer sound!

I'm not sure about the transfer case having problems :dunno: .

^^^^They did a good job, but as a long time BMW nut it's a discrace IMO. I couldn't think of going from a BMW plant to Mitsu :nono:
I'll have to find a vid I saw a while back of an E30 with a newer M motor installed with a turbo I think. Through out all 5 gears, fatty tires were just smoke trying to keep it on the road course. Very impressive HP to weight ratio considering it was still fast as hell spinning the tires.
