EXTRUDABODY said the same thing. But the application developer gig is for me. There aren't any exclusive dealerships.

So I gave Bottle from TITAN his personal number.

I build manifolds. intake and exhaust.

I'm doin' a turbo manifold, too.

I only start after I can show benefit on paper. All the math is offered before beginning of manufacture.

On my AEM standalone I'm going to show tps load first.

Then map and maf.

The test for the 7MGE will follow the outline of the 5/6MGE testing. I can download and post up maps. I'll wander around and ask a few ecu companies for ecus to test for compatibility. If I pay it is cool because it is at application developer scale and if in stock, arrives soon. If I negotiate benefit I plan and plan until I get it.

"I'd love to try ITB's like that on a GTE, but i guess space restriction is our downfall "

Not so. The manifold and ITBs are so short. The manifold runners are individually cut and spaced to suit individual needs on my manifolds. They can angle up, curve using bends instead of straight tube. Just imagine it. If you can see it in your minds eye I'll come get it.

Now this looks the Dogs!

That would make an amazing FFIM with amazing throttle response on the 7mgte

The owner of the company was just emailing me and explaining to me the same thing. He also shared with me the ECU manufacturer but I can't tell yet.

If you call him he will answer any question about the product. If you ask me I will answer all questions about performance.

This is not 7M. It is custom for Nissan, his I bet There is also a custom Nissan 5.7 rockin' it. He describes the 7M as direct-to-head simplicity. I do not. And we shall see. BUT "...and why does it seem like everybody has a big but...?" Kevin is cutting edge and fun but busy. All but one hat he wears and there is only one other hat. He personally assembled my kit. motherfucker that feeeeels goood.

What would it take to get this installed on a 7MGTE?

Basically an adapter plate to mount the ITB's to the head, similar to the one in the pics, but prolly at a 35 degree angle. If your running Speed density i.e. maftpro, VPC etc etc, there is a Vac port on each ITB, you connect each one to a Vacuum manifold, and use that as your sensor reference, TPS mounting would maybe need modified for the 7m TPS to work.

You can do what you want.

Here's what I'm gonna do:

parts dimensions

bore-to-stroke, rod-to-stroke geometry study

mechanical efficiency study

mach index for intake valves per 100 rpm overlaid with pk tq index and pk hp index study

inertial load factor study

peak rpm study

reliability and safety factor study

thermal efficiency study

volumetric efficiency study

BMEP, BSFC

intake pulse tuning study

intake charge speed study

entrapped charge study

anti detonation study

injection timing study

ignition timing study

deflag charge versus remaining charge in moles and peak cylinder pressure overlaid to crank degrees 36 BTDC-24 ATDC study

camshaft events study

cam overlaid to piston position and crank degrees study

intake charge volume study

turbo demand lines study

shift points overlaid to compressor map study

Will take me 48 man hours.

If you want to do this I need to know these details first.
I'm now working on the 1JZ and 2JZ too.

I arrange a test mule and I have a 7M and shell for fitting.

Design for clearance. Design for ease of installation. Design to the product optimizations and philosophy. Design for your exact application.

sarinas, whats the deal here? i see a shit-ton of math (can't hardly follow :D), but are you developing this for yourself, a company, or to sell to us GE owners?

i'd absolutely LOVE to try this/own one if you're going to start making them for the 7m.

Wow. Not an original concept,as far as the 7m, but the amount of research you're putting in to the development of this system is. The technical aspect is way over my head, so I'll be spending a lot of time reading, and re-reading, those posted articles.
"But I hope to get my hands on one of the new nitrous ecus. Claims of spray timed with valve events, user chosen torque band and overall engine management integrated." I'd be very interested in this set-up. Who makes it? Can it be used with the stock efi system, or is it being built for your itb system?

It all started....

I have been into I6s because my first car was a 52 GMC truck with the 250 cid six in 1976. I then had a Maverick with a 250 cid six too. Then my dad got crazy into Jags. He'd had five E-types. He still has his his and hers 69 vert and 69 2+2 and a 59 MK IX Saloon and a 49 Triumph TR 2000.

IN the 80's I drove I6 Hall-Scott powered fire engines and Detroit Diesel fire engines. It started to dawn on me the extra bearing surface is the key to reliability. I used to rent four local drag strips and put on VW only events.

Since I was ten I read and tried to understand Hot Rod magazine and from there all of them. I've been doing tune-ups on my dad's friends cars since then for $10 + parts during their lunchhours. The most interesting to me was camshafts.

It is not easy to spec anything. Ten years ago when got into Supras I thought no one knew anything then. So I stareted collecting the necessary information and guided by friends that are in the aftermarket high performance industry. They encouraged me to go for it, they would help but the couldn't see profit.

I don't want customers because I couldn't care less about customer service. I made my own and have my set. But there is so much interest I don't know what to do. If some one was savvy they would see the opportunity. If they could read my emails they would be sure.

The specs are for my 5MGE Tuning Manual. I guess I'm making a 6, 7, 1J and 2J manuals too, it is just a lengthy process.

Together we could have something but I'd rather collaborate. The group buy is just such a hassle. I have done all the work and just have to capitalize projects but I already have mine. HOw would you feel if you had yours. It takes me five days to do all the math and only one to make a manifold because I'm so sure.

Now I'll ask a question, who really wants any form of 7MGE, 7MGTE, 1/2JZxxx ITBs. I have an arrangement for a brand new ECU. I am an application developer and I have shown how to show benefit. I get a really good deal to work with them. To get this application off the ground this is no group buy because I can't pin down designers, owners and manufacturers during developement phases. But the ITBs could be yours for a one-time only deal from me not the company for $900 for the whole kit, no manifold.
The new ECUs are $800 through me. I can profit fromthis in any way I want...revenue-neutral through cost sharing or outright mark-up.

I can have the manifolds cast or build them out of aluminum sheet metal. Even ABS. I am going to get a set of stock Toyota ITBs and do a manifold for that.

I'm in a different position than everyone else. I have the specs to know what works before I begin.

Worldwide at least three big manufacturers have this plan and it is a race. But motorsports is so small and so diverse rarely can anyone afford to pay enough attention to keep ahead of all product releases. I won't tell you. It would jeopardize my relationships with these men.

But the guys that are working with me already know I'm open. They have my yahoo email account and login, supracentral included, and can verify my correspondece in these matters and track product developement and real time negotiations. You should see how Bottle from Titan treats me, it is, at once robust and stark. I should haiku he made me so sad..............

interested and watching this...

I've seen ITB setups on quite a few cars and they all where very fast...

the C6R runs ITB's as well...

so are you making a one-off set for yourself or developing this for the NA mk3 owners?

thanks, depending on the price range i'm seriously looking into it. will the itbs offer a pretty good increase in power/response? i think this is what your calculations are telling you, but again not sure. how's it compare to a stock gte?

One spec I've repeated is the throttles are twice as close as the stock throttle body. the air takes less than half the time to respond to your throttle input.
