Hi everyone. i was just wondering is it a good idea to remove the a/c I don't really care about it that much. I just want to know what sensors are on the a/c lines. I noticed there were 3 of the hard liens where the turbo is. I can disconnect them and have no problems?

If there is any advice you have let me know, thanks.

If you don't every plan on using it, and don't plan on selling it, and have no humidity where you live, then you dont' need it.

No problems here. and you get to remove that fat ass condensor so the radiator gets more cooling! (at least on my n/a) but i removed all of the shit from my turbo car also. a/c is a waste of space. If i have to i drive in my boxers.

I removed everything related to A/C in my car, and bagged/labeled it for future use if I ever decide I need it again. (though, that would involve removal of my FFIM)

No issues unless you have the A/C button pressed in when you check codes. (which would cause issues regardless. ;))

I just went through a AC snafu. Condenser fans would not run. I guess if you pulled out the compressor, condenser, dryer and piping you could save allot of weight and remove a air restriction on the radiator. The condenser fans could come in handy for some extra cooling. As far as sensors if you have a 7mgte with auto transmission there is one on the thermo housing that turns on the condenser fans if the coolant temp goes above 212F. A second sensor and a easy one to put toggle switch on for manual control of the condenser fans would be the high pressure switch.
