I looked at it again and tried to put the thinner metal gasket in between the plate and the WG. It just doesn't look right. The metal gasket is not allowing the protrusion on the plate to slip down into the WG cylinder like it needs to. Either the metal gasket doesn't go there or it is not the correct one. I'll put up a pic of the gasket on top of the plate.

You're right. The plate's protrusion faces the cylinder of the wastegate, with the thin gasket between the wastegate and the plate.

The thicker gasket goes between the manifold and the plate.

hmm interesting, my only other suggestion would be running without the thin metal gasket.

I'm running without one and I'm having no issues on the same wastegate.

I think that is what I am going to do. When I put the plate on to the WG it looks like it lays really flat on it. I dont think it will leak when I wrench it down.

Well, not really. I have my old one which is 2.5 back to a cheep muffler. I do have a 3" DP and 3" test pipe. After that is all installed, I will probably make one myself. Why, you got one for me??:icon_bigg

Haha. Yeah I'll get it off my 2jSR5. It's in the mail.:)

Is the turbo your getting vband or bolt flange? Is the muffler 3''? If so, I'd throw it on. See if you like it. You have a welder at your house??

Turbo will be 3" Vband. The muffler is 2.5" i believe. I can get ahold of a welder but have a friend that will probably do a better job then I ever would.

No interesting pics. I am painting the engine bay in two weeks. and then I will start installing everything. I still need a turbo, injectors, and a few misc. parts. I'll snap some pics once the engine bay is painted.

Looks nice. Now don't scratch that baby putting the engine back in.

Got any of your other parts yet?

Yeah, now I know why not too many paint the engine bay. I already have scratches and chips in it. :3d_frown: . So give it a few months and it will look back to the way it was.

Here are some pics of the DM power steering line so I can use the 2J pump on the 7M rack. Also a pic of the oil adaptor line from DM. Does the power steeirng line look right? I am pretty sure it is.

OK, I am trying to get the power steering cooler to go on the opposite side of where it was before. Here are a couple pics. The only thing I can think on is I may have some trouble with mounting the IC. Other then that, I hope it works this way. What do you guys think?

Here is the other project right now. I need to figure out the AFPR routing. I think I have the lines right, but not for sure. So my 1st question is in the pic of the stock fuel feed and return lines, is line 1 the feed and line 2 the return? Also, does the screw on the back of the AFPR gauge need to come off? Any help would be great!!!
