OK guys lets start out as i just picked this up Sunday for 2200. :evil2: so far i think it needs the knock sensors re wired (already ordered the kit) and needs a few various hoses. my goal is to have a good running car no crazy HP or anything maybe intake and full exhaust just for fun. here are the pics. my ? is the throttle body pics what is under that screw that somebody glued in there?

Nice car! There shouldn't be anything under that screw...there shouldn't even be a screw there. Maybe a long time ago someone added an additional injector for more fuel or possibly a nitrous shot? Idk, just guessing.

wow I paid 1500 for mine 90 targa with 160k on the clock , already dropped 500$ in the brake system , it needed new calipers and line all the way around , got stock rebuilds from oreillys... Mine was way more beat up then your's nice deal you got...

LOL my bad guys i ment code and the AC is ice cold but the resister is burnt so theres no low seting could that set it off? and i can check the TPS with a ohm meter right? i have a 89 toyota repair manual my dad had stashed in his closet go figure.

son of a bitch! my 89's been acting up, I kept ignoring code 51 because I don't have an AC compressor and assumed it was so.!

Compressor or not if you have the ac button pushed in then you'll throw a code 51....this does not effect the cars operation....if your throttle position sensor has lost connection or is out of calibration then your car will run like crap!

well i cleared the codes and ran the car around the block check engine light came on pulled it back in the garage and checked the codes without the AC button pressed and the car in park. still got 51 i am putting a new blower resister in it and i am sposed to get my knock sensor rewire kit this week hope that gets rid of 52. sorry it took so long to post i had a severe allergic attack on Tuesday and couldn't breath so Ive been in the hospital but i got home and found this on my bed :evil2:

another ? for you guys.. so the power steering pump is leaking so i went to NAPA to get a part number for the pump to put on my Christmas list from my parents. and they show two different ones. one says with hydraulic reaction type pump and the other is without the hydraulic reaction type pump which is the one i want?
