Little background behind this.
Bought the car for $900, the guy assumed cause he snapped the timing belt that he did valve damage, tho everything was absolutely freakin filthy, I could tell that it was all in mostly good shape, especially the 25 year old leather. Stock motor 150k. Full 2.5 inch exhaust on it. Towed it home, replaced the timing belt and ran till I pulled it for the turbo build.

Pictures of the pick up:::
here was the car when i went to pick it up.

Then I got it all cleaned up and did some work under the hood aswell (still NA, this is how it was for about 8 months)

you can normally pick up mk2s pretty cheap, find yourself one and have a sweet project car.

We over on celicasupra.com like to think to get the best of the supra world, use the amazing body of the mk2 and put in the 7m under the hood.

I just wish I had more money to put into it...
Being only 18, and in highschool, getting ready to head off to college this summer...
funds are and will be very very limited. I have managed this far basically just off of my ingenuity to do stuff for next to nothing...lol

But then again, not having to take it in or have any shop to anything has saved me a butload.
Milling the head and block are the only things I have had to have done by somewhere.

Your low-buck-ingenuity puts many high-dollar-low-perspiration jobs to shame.;)

Very impressed with your efforts at that age.

...now grow four children and a 60-70 hour a week job where you are "on-call 24/7", drop in a working wife and debts that rival the National budget deficit into the picture... and your labor of love is not just commendable for your resourcefulness... but improbable by virtue of capacity, as well.

That's crisp's way of saying "good job".;)

Remember, laziness is expensive. If you do most of the work yourself you'll save a fortune. Hell, I've saved a few hundred dollars by having my buddy help me install my cams and injectors. Plus not being lazy allows you to learn, which is a very good thing.

Keep up the good work.
