Yeah, dont put them in water.. Just dump some fuel into a bucket and set the hanger in it. You can run wires directly from a battery to the power and ground of the hanger.

Wow. 6 pages about this.. Out of 5+ years of supra ownership I have had hood struts for 2 years. And it was the best ~$50 I spent on the car. It was always one of those items on my to do list, it was one of those things I never really remembered or cared about until I did it.

Yeah that car was running a bone stock r154 and stock suspension...with a stock diff too ;) KKK is also in conjunction with Schwitzer and Borg Warner.

Bad valve guide seals and stock twins would cause it to burn oil Honestly, compression isnt that big of a deal on the JZ motors, as long as they are consistant across the board I wouldn't worry too much. Obviously if its really low then you have an issue, anything over 100psi is alright..Mine...

I would have gone twin Denso's right off the bat, only thing is they wont fit inside the tank hole up top... I am considering a Denso in-tank feeding an 044 in-line, otherwise external pump it is. This is my fifth bad walbro in less than a year. Geezus. I didn't want to upgrade my fuel system...

I'd buy one with the vents like RazoE's So, thats my vote ;)
