When im driving then i put it in neutral to slow down and stop it idles for about 3-5 seconds then dies. It sounds like it would if you turned the key off. I took the iscv and cleaned it. Im letting it idle right now, im about to take it out to test.
It was dumping mass amounts of fuel with the old afm. BTW i reset the ecu and code 11 went away. I checked the wire (which was thought to be brown) and it's fine.
My old afm died so a bought another from a member on here. It seems to be working good except when the car goes back down to idle it just dies. Its not throwing any codes.
Any ideas of what it could be?
when i shift to second and floor the pedal the car seems to missfire and cut out whenever i start to build boost. i was getting a code 24 but i reset the ecu and drove it for a while and it hasnt come back
I decided to just get the adapter and hope it works out. I have only installed it on the motor out of the car so far but I should be done building it this weekend I will post pics once its in.
yeah thats what i have been doing but i cant seem to find a manifold with a t3 flange.
how hard would it be to buy a manifold and cut the t4 flange off and weld a t3 flange on. my dad is a great welder would it be something we could do
i was wondering if anyone knew of a company that makes an adapter so i can mount my t3 turbo to the stock manifold. or anyone that makes a tubular manifold with a t3 flange.
thanks chris
lol it moves just as fast as the boost gauge. and no coolant loss or milkshake oil and the engine never feels like its hot. the thermostat is new.
the guage moves so fast im thinking it the sensor or gauge screwing up.
oh yeah im only throwing code 11
