I've seen a few adapters out there, but they're typically more expensive than what they're worth. Best bet would be to just look for a manifold. Unfortunately I don't have anything to recommend or anywhere to check out, but if it were myself, that's where I'd start.

yeah thats what i have been doing but i cant seem to find a manifold with a t3 flange.

how hard would it be to buy a manifold and cut the t4 flange off and weld a t3 flange on. my dad is a great welder would it be something we could do

Cutting exhaust manifolds can be a lot of work because they're incredibly hard and quite thick. It's not something I'd want to do with a sawzall that's for sure. It is possible though, and if your dad can do a good welding job that is an option.

I've seen the adapters on eBay before http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T3-CT26-CT20-Turbo-Flange-Adapter-35-38-Wastegate-MR2_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c66Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1205Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem56334f7feeQQitemZ370228035566QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories. Not sure if i'd run one but there ya go.

I am having the same problem, I don't really want to run the adapter due to clearance issues w the strut bar as well.

I was thinking about just buying a manifold and cutting off the flange and welding the T3 flange on it like you were saying. Post up and let me/us know what route you go, it might influence my decision.

I bought a adapter off ebay about a month ago cause i was going the same
route with a t3/t4 hybrid, these adapters are about a good 3-4", and with you saying
you are putting a t70 lol, you will definetly have to make room adjustments for it to fit...

But i went a totally different route, way too much involved with switching over to a
t3/t4.

&& To top it all off it cost me $45!!

What about just welding the t-3 flange directly on the stock manifold flange. I mean, cut away any parts of the stock flange that might interfere, and then welding the flanges together. Then it would only change the turbo position about 1/2 an inch. Just an idea.

Weld a steel flange to a 17-22 year old cast iron manifold ?
That will hold about a week........

I've had success mig welding steel to cast iron in the past. Based on that, I thought it was worth mentioning.
