    Arknotts' 92 Teal Build

One of my favorite details is the "S+V" decal on the windshield, which is from the Sunset and Vine suites. The car has a piece of Hollywood with it. =)

    My other wife,LOL!

I know this thread is 3 years old but I ran into this pic from Google just wanted to say that this teal 92T was my car (I took that pic) but sold to another member here in 2009. =)

    Gilsdorf's Long Road to Automotive-Nirvana

If the Supra had anything nearly as cool as the Cobb AccessPort I might have modded a lot further. The ability to completely remap the stock ECU in every way shape and form, thus negating the need for piggybacks ever going standalone is priceless. Even the super-insane AMS Alpha 12 kit...

    350z vs 7mgte

5.7L GTO's are so-so, but if it's a 6.0L GTO, definitely look out. My friend has nothing but an ECU remap on his, and dyno'd 380 rwhp and 380 tq.

    Picture jack on Craigslist

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/1158207447.html The dude who bought Suprastanger's Supra is trying to flip it on Orange County Craigslist using some pictures of my old teal 92 (as though someone who is willing to pay premium for a mk3 wouldn't notice that 2 out of 4 of the pictures are...

Letting the cat out of the bag - 13" OEM Quality Front Brakes for the MA70 Platform

The whole 70/30 thing is so that under hard braking, the front traction will find its limit before the rear does, making the car understeer (for the safety of the general driving masses). If after the PBR upgrade the same amount of line pressure as stock equals even more stopping power in the...

Letting the cat out of the bag - 13" OEM Quality Front Brakes for the MA70 Platform

Woah woah woah. I'm definitely interested in the bracket plus ring kit, but had to interject here. Offset has nothing to do with brake clearance because the offset is the measure between the centerline of the wheel and the mounting surface of the face. Brake clearance is the distance from the...

    ***The Teal Supras Thread***

We should start a registry for these things. I've been messing around with mk3's since 1996, and I've still seen less than 10 teal ones. -Ray

    how rare is a 91 white package?91 prodution number's?

I think negative PR on forums doesn't have nearly as much of an affect as the fact that most mk3's are heaps of shit. When most people think of the mk3, they think of the rusty 87's you see on the road with blown shocks, purple peeling tint, messed up stock wheels, etc. When most people own...

    post pictures of your exhaust!!!!!!!!!

In that instance, I think the problem is more the distance the can is away from the car (looks like almost 6" back!). I actually have 2 rice cannons with 3.5" tips and a lot of people think it looks stock as they are tucked in neatly into the body. It's all in the positioning. -Ray

    ***The Teal Supras Thread***

Referring to the whole molding including the lettering. You can tell by the texture that it's been painted. Tow hooks are normally black, so it kind of suggests that the whole car has been repainted. Not trying to bust balls but you're kind of asking for it when you say "I'd like to think...

    ***The Teal Supras Thread***

Looks very clean, although I have to say the exhaust is a little funky looking. =P I'm also anal about not painting the moldings and tow hooks, but don't listen to me, I'm super picky. -Ray

Lets play the "Whose MK3 is it" game...

Nick I think this entire forum didn't exist yet with Crazy Dave was an active Supra member... but if you posted this on SocalSupras it would be too easy. How about this, and Nick isn't allowed to answer: Red '88 7M-GTE with high compression n/a pistons RP01's eventually painted gold...

    Just got a 92 supra!!!!

Welcome to the 92 club -- as stated above, it IS rare, especially if it's clean, so on the mod path ahead of you, make sure you do it tastefully! =P -Ray

    post pictures of your exhaust!!!!!!!!!

BTW, I finally have a recording of what this sounds like with a 7M-GTE, stock CT26, BIC rerouted downpipe, and stock main cat: http://youtube.com/watch?v=hoIude6L5_k Yes, I know that it's a little smokey, it was a cold start and it's the original '92 CT26 with ~100k miles on it. Those of you...

    2008 Mk3 Supra Calendar

Tanya, I've emailed you a couple of times trying to get the ideal dimensions so I don't have to do guesswork at my next photo shoot... maybe they're ending up in your junk folder? Anyway, still waiting on that detail, thanks! =) -Ray
