isnt it like a watch battery? if i were you i would make sure im getting spark first, and seems most cps will fail the tsrm ohm test but as long as they are not wildly out of spec, it doesnt really matter

oops, almost forgot, car has the original window sticker, no abs listed, i guess this just means they used the same harness on abs and non abs cars...

Ill check those wires first then coilpacks and igniter. The weird thing to me about this problem is that I was able to solve the check engine light but without solving the drivability issue, like two problems popped up at once. Ill post findings tomorrow probably. Thanks and more ideas always help.
