This is kind of odd, The Brembo's I'm used to do not have dust boots, they have an o'ring with 2 backup rings as a seal. If you can't feel the scratch I'd leave it. Trying to blend it will change the size of the orifice and affect sealing of the piston the rest of the way around.

I would do the 225/245 f/r combo, but you have to keep in mind the sidewalls. 225/50 and 245/50's will look kinda kooky, because the sidewall dimension is not the same for both. The sidewall is an aspect ratio, sometimes you have to try on a new pair of shoes to see if you like how they look...

So I should just use the cams from the turbo head...That's a no brainer, provided the head I'm going to remove is in better shape.

The #2-#3 area is where mine is warped most. Any differences between the nNA and turbo head? I may have a spare.

What is it and how was it originally soaked?

All the supporting data you can shake a stick at won't help my particular head. Which by the way has a longitudinal warp of .008 (not happy) as I stated...my head has severe pitting. probably as deep as .100. So it's either drill it or fill it.

Well, I'm glad I asked! Just for the record, I'll have to drill the passage out. It's alsmost through the block as it is! The aluminum is just gone with some serious pitting corrosion. Good to know it's not altogether a bad thing. More people should probably be aware to look for this as this...

I'm doing a BHG rebuild and noticed that the water jacket in the rear of my head is...not there. The block has an outlet, the gasket as well. In the head there is just a corroded aluminum area where the jacket should be. Anyone know why?

Not happy......nothing I've tried has brought the temp in range. I'll do the bhg prep, and I'm sure I'll be doing the whole lobster dinner. Not happy, The head gasket isn't 20,000 miles old, and I have'nt done any (major) mods. I'll do this one myself to make sure it's correct.
