I want to buy a new wiring harness for my 90 Supra. The body was a non turbo and a turbo engine out of an 89 was swapped over. I used the 89 turbo harness but many of the wires did not connect directly to the various plugs on my 90 body.
Now I am just want to get a new main engine harness...
Yea the class we have is an Introduction Course. I am also in a Calculus II, thanks to AP credits and chiemistry. I will still need to take all of the physics, chemistry, and math. The idea behind the course is to get some hands on experience right away as long as you enroll into the college...
I am in my first semester at Wisconsin and I am going for Mechanical Engineering. I love it here. If you don't mind a bigger school it is great. The life outside of class is as we are the number one party school, which is always a plus.
We are also ranked I belive in the top 10 or 15 for...
Anyone have a picture of where the ground wire connects from the coil pack to the head? I looked and I don't see any wire that is grounded from the coil pack.
I swapped a 7mgte into my n/a car and had problems with getting it started. I am making progress because now it actually will start.
Now all it will do is start, stumble a little bit and die. I tried catching the stumble by hitting the accelerator but it will hesitate and just die. Can...
Well i'm assuming my starter is good because it is brand new and I checked all the circuits and wiring. There is good power getting to the starter but it almost sounds like it gets stuck when I turn the key.
Yes is rolls in nuetral but it is sitting in my driveway and I don't have much room to try to push start it. How fast does it need to be rolling to push start it anyway?
Well I just did a 7mgte swap along with a spec stage 2 clutch and Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel. All the car does when I turn the key is click in the glovebox along with the starter clicking. It is a fairly loud click from the starter when the key is turned then again when the key is turned back...
I just conpleted a na-t swap and now it wont start. All i hear is a clicking from by the ECU when I turn the key. I tryed connecting a wire directly from where the plug goes into the starter to the battery and the starter clicks like it is trying to go but gets stuck. The battery is brand new...
check the breaker in the kick panel on the drivers side. I had the same exact thing happen and that is what blew. I don't think you can tell visually if it is blown or not but you can check continuity if you pull it out.
Well I contacted horsepowerfreaks, and sent that picture. They told me it wasn't going to be an issue and that it was just a stamp from the press. So we will see how it goes but I do feel a little better about using it now.
I just got a spec stage 2 clutch about a week ago and noticed this scratch(if you can call it that) in one of the rivets in the pressure plate. It is a pretty deep cut into it. I am just wondering if this is going to cause me problems? Should I contact Spec about this and have them give me a...
I pulled the engine and tranny together and unbolted the tranny. It came off of the eninge about an inch and is now stuck. I can't get it all of the way off. It will rotate and seems to be held up by something in the center but I don't know what.
Do I need to do something with the clutch...
I know I don't want to wire them to the A/C switch as I don't want them to be off or 100%. I want them to be stagged. I have heard of the SPAL and have looked into it a little bit. Would there be anything extra that I would have to buy on top of the Kit the comes with the SPAL controller?
I need a fan controller for my dual electric fans. As of right now I only have the on/off switch. I believe this is causing my battery to not get fully charged and I have starting issues occasionally. I am looking for one that will turn one fan on at a variable speed and kick the other one in...
