Stepping out of the shadows, had to share my latest find

Yeah if this solution didn’t work out, I was going to resort to using a glued mount. But I really wanted to keep it as stock looking as possible.

Stepping out of the shadows, had to share my latest find

So most of you don’t know me and the ones that did know me, probably don’t remember me.. yes it’s been that long. If you’re wanting an update on my build thread I can revive the dead and do that. But this past summer I’ve been redoing my interior and one of the final pieces that needed...

    Jimi's build update

That sux, I thought you had found a good one...bummer.... No, It's a long story, but the head was warped slightly from the rear timing cover not being decked with the block (thanks JARCO!), that blew HG #1 on cylinder #1, and then I redid the rear timing cover to match the block But did not...

    Jimi's build update

What up Ben. No biggie, I knew it was a long shot, but thought I would give it a try anyway, seeing how hard it is to track down a well built engine. So what have you been up to? Did you join the military or what? Thanks Ken, So hows your supie treating ya?

Wow, almost a year from my last post...crazy, sorry guys! The latest is that the engine is done for.....I blew the #3 cylinder section on the HG after installing the new HKS HG.... on the first drive. Jimi's build update

Thanks Ben, we will see if I can get this alt to work :nono: If it's not one thing, it's another. After some grinding on the bracket and the alt, and drilling a new hole in the alt, it fits the bracket. (you should not have an issue with the stock bracket set up, as it will adjust to the...

    Jimi's build update

^^^Thanks guys ;) I just got my new Viper alternator from Aaron @ Driftmotion today, this is a 120 amp alt. The reason for this is that I'm running an electric cooling fan and now with the electric air pump for the PCV, I thought this higher amp alt would be a good Idea. The only downside...

    benefits to electric fans?

My single "Black Magic" fan works great. I do have a back up pusher fan just in case, with a separate temp switch that kicks the back up fan on if temps go above normal. (I've yet to have it kick on)

    Mkiii rc, finally!

The two different sizes 190mm for electric and 200mm for nitro, so my guess this will be 190mm as it's electric. That is if this company follows the hobby standards.
