Nice old GT! It's a GC coupe. I don't know about the US, but around here they are fairly rare. The engine is a FE/T 2.0 8v turbo, and not the same as the F2T found in the MX-6 and the Probe. The F2T should be a straight fit though. You might find some usefull info here...
