It's not needed and a weld is stronger without any grinding.
But some of them are grinded down a bit. Reinforcement welds are a big no-no.

Any area/reason where/why I should?

Then that's the same as I'm thinking. I have done som grinding on welds that stick out to much.
On the outside of the visible body there are no un-grinded welds.

Today is hopefully the day!!! It might be the day for primer ;)
I have some updates but those are not ready to be posted yet. I will post them along with some new updates when I'm in the painting process :)

Regarding the battery box hold down. I have removed the 4 screws I welded in before. I'm going with a better/stronger fastening.

Today I went and picked up a fuel tank which I had bought over the internet
without seeing any pictures of it.
The seller told me that it was rust free and in good condition...
The price was good so I took a chance on it.

As you can see, there was some rust on it and at first sight it does not
look so good.
But further down you can see that the rust wasn't so bad :)

I just need to remove the filler neck, clean it real good and then paint it.

Today it was time to finish the front edge on the right side.
My friend came to visit me also and he brought his little mx-5 :p
It was the first time I sat in one of those (the old one) and it's smaller than I thought.

I thought that today was the day my supra would get yellow....

Me and my girlfriend arrived between 10 and 11 AM and I thought that we would go home between
8 and 9 PM.

I did some last minute stuff before my friends arrived at about 11 AM. They brought some
tools that I needed and I didn't want to be alone when I was about to suspend the engine
with an engine hoist.
Everything went fine and the front sub frame came down easy.

Then it was time to mask everything of. I decided to remove the door cards to protect them
from paint. I needed to remove them anyway since I'm replacing the one on the driver side
and I need to get to the nuts holding the trim in place.

We left the garage at 1 AM....and there was no paint on the car nor was the masking not
completed either :(

Today I finished masking the supra and garage.
Total masking time is about 14 hours :O

I had some problem with my breathing gear, it got clogged while I was doing the inside of the
car so I had some trouble breathing :( This resulted in some stress so the paint is a bit thin
on some spots inside the car but everything is at least covered.

The idea was apply seam sealer on all the welds and metal joints today.
But for some reason I only bought one can...
I didn't get to far before I realized that I would need more to cover all the joints.
So I drove of to see if I could find any more at some gas stations.
In one gas station the girl behind the counter thought I was looking for an magazine,
and the guy had never heard of it.

So I couldn't finish this task today and I didn't feel like taking any pictures either.
