i bought a 1J front clip, did the whole 1j swap from the clip even the JZA70 front subframe and now im not sure if the progressive power steering is working or not and im not sure how to tell??
im not sure if it has anything to do some computer beside the ecu or not
i had something like this happen to me when i had my w58 tranny, i used to put it streight into reverse and it used to grind.
the best thing to do is what i did, when your at a full stop put it into 2nd gear and then reverse, i do that with ever manual tranny i have now
if that doesn't...
then i really see no point in a 1.5jz if it just come up to the same a the 2j, i really dont know anything about what the difference is in a 1.5jz, someone tell me the point?
if there is no difference then shouldn't ppl just go 2j, which is the same, and maybe yea it would be more expensive to...
wouldn't this be easy, just the 2j bottom end with everything attached the bottom end needs and just get the 6spd tranny
and for the top end everything can be used from the 1j like the twins or the single if already done, cause im actually thinking of doing this and what about the ecu can the...
i did around 112mph, and i was going to break it but then the new rule of 50 over the limit you will get your car confiscated,
and this is in canada so it's 50km over, i basically did like 180km

Im planning on running maybe garret's gt15 turbo's but as the site says the turbos are meant for lower displacement engines

lol i would like that, but i think i might want to stay with the stock manifold and use upgraded twins plus i got a 180sx that im building for 500+whp for track,time attack, drag, show, everything.
im just waiting till i get a 92 mk3 with black interior, with low km's and my mk4 big...
aright well i know that like the hks t3g turbo's are the full replacement for the stock 1j twins, but thats hard to come by
so are you guys saying that the stock 1j manifold flange's is only for the flange for the twins, cause i know if i upgrade the twins i will have to do the custom work...
In the first pic is the 1j which with the purple arrow, i just want to know if i could replace that and put one of these filters thats in the second pic, and if there would be any problems later from this
