i just recently bought a 2j from them.. couple of issues, bad ac compressor told me they didnt have any more 2js to trade it with.. harness had some broken clips..(thats normal), turbos were blown... ... but i did a leakdown test and it had perfect pressure across all cylinders, pulled a valve...

after the car warmed up it idles perfectly , no idea what was happening on Saturday, sometimes you need to just walk away.. Thanks again for all the help. if i have any further problems i will update...

By a miracle the car actually turned on and runs it just dies wont stay running unless i hold the gas,im just going to stay in it till it warms up and see what happens

ok i checked for voltage at B+ and it doesnt seem to have any, my multimeter is an automatic one switches back and forth on its own, tested the battery shows 12.45 v dc when i check the B+ its giving some other reading not volts... i switched the main relay in the box behind the battery and...

Ok heres what i got 88 supra turbo, check engine light was coming on and off intermittently while driving went to check the codes and accidentally jumped out b+ with e1, it sparked and the car stalled out, now it wont turn back on, i checked fuses only found one blown the efi 15 amp, replaced it...

just use the flat gasket you should be fine

i had one that had great compression ran great and everything but if you drove more than 40 mins it would overheat, other than that i had no problems with the car...you could try bypassing the coolant to the turbo if you suspect the turbo and see where that leads you.

i used lucas once after i spun a rod bearing and replaced it....at my very next oil change i didnt use it and when i started the car it was knocking on just about every cylinder at idle, sounded like an old deisel truck...lol lesson learned.....Lucas= bad

Ok a little backround on whats going on... about 2 months ago i bought a harness that was supposed to be only 3 years old. It supposedly came off of a running car, it had the 550cc injector clips wired in already, which is a mod i have so i figured i was a step ahead by not having to do that...

the one on the left is the speedo cable the one in the middle and on the right are cooler lines... i would not run them to the original trans cooler if your trans went bad get an aftermarket trans cooler...

i would just get the maf cleaner at any autostore...

did you say you swapped out the maf and its acting the same...i had a similar problem and thats what it was...maf or wiring to the maf..thats where i would start..
