well, i went out there and i pulled the metal rod upward and heat started coming out. So i guess it is safe to say i need a new vsv.

I would try it one more time with someone holding open the throttle body.

It will raise your numbers

Sounds like some of you might not of had somebody hold the throttle body open when you were cranking the car. I did the same mistake.

Just remember when your checking compression, make sure the throttle body is open. If it is not open, your numbers will be off.
