By the way my car seems to backfire a little bit in the exhaust between shifts too, probably running a little rich too.

Even if he did put on just the afm, which i know is a no no, wouldn't the fuel cut stop the motor from becoming to lean to cause harm to his motor?

Well, this kit was just put on. It was a used kit that I purchased from another member here and it seems to be smoking a lot. Usually it is between shifts or after getting on it and then stopping i can see it, more so at night, but i can see it during the day too. My car definitely did not do...

Anybody have any 3" exhaust flanges or know where to get them so i can make a test pipe. Preferably in the chicagoland are as I may be able to pick them up this weekend. Let me know, thanks Bob.

Thanks Randy I know its not the test pipe, yeah i think the turbo elbow may be playing a factor in this also, because the greddy sp muffler section where the little 3" pipe curve that connects to the resonator section of the catback, is only about 1/8 of an inch from hitting the body. So like...

Suggestions? Custom test pipe? That should do it right. Anybody know what the bic test pipe is made out of? Mild Steel?

I don't have pics at the moment, this car is about 20 minutes from me. I can try to get them this weekend, but this is strange how I would have fitment issues on parts made for this car.
