Blitz and mines are excellent! I ran a blitz for about a year before my caps blew. :( Definitely redo your caps before you use it. NO MATTER WHAT! My 500 dollar ecu dropped to zero because i didn't do them in time. Blew up the boards traces. :(
You also might want to think about an aftermarket...
Thanks for the advice, are you running a gt35r also? My main goal is just getting it together, but maybe i will go with the bosh fuel pump instead of the walbro. I believe it does better at high pressure.
Also, i think it is time to rename this thread. I think this will be the beginning of my...
well, that 200 bucks will definitely cost you. Half cuts have tons of cool shit on them. Stuff that you can easily sell. Many guys make at least half of what they pay for the cuts because of the cool stuff they sell. 200 is seriously small peanuts out of the about 5k that you will be investing...
THAT MEANS A LOT!!!!
You should have said that driftmotion was the company. They really know their shit!
I still would suggest the whole thing. 200 bucks is nothing compared to that one damn thing you missed and it takes 6 months to find another one of.
Also, i would highly recommend buying...
Please take all of these guys advice. If the shop wont ship it as a whole clip, find another shop. No other option. There is a reason so many are saying the same thing, it is extremely important that if you can get a clip, you should. Good luck
the goal has always been 500RWHP. I would like to do it on pump gas. We don't have any E85 around here sadly :( That would be a dream come true :) I might think of methanol injection, but that is way in the future :)
wait what??? How is a clutch more expensive? Tires run for about 550-600 a pair for the rear. If you are constantly spinning them, you will go through 2 sets in the time one should suffice. Atleast that is what i would expect. To date i have never in my life had a clutch go out on me. I have a 6...
i am going to assume that is fuel from the start up. Usually they run very rich for the first few seconds. I wouldn't worry, but we will let others chime in. :)
I am one lucky guy :)
It was ebay. Some dude couldn't finish his dream sand crawler project, so he listed it for 800. For some silly reason no one bid and i bought it for 700 last week :) I have been watching for about a year. It is perfect and it has no miles on it. It has chrome housing, which...
haha! wow, ok cool! Thank you very much. Otherwise it looks fricken fab. Only a tiny bit of shaft play back and forth and none up and down. So i am happy. I started running the numbers and damn, i dont know how i am going to swing the rest of the build
1jz/2jz mk3 AFPR kit for -8 rail $289.00...
Update 05/16/2009: I am making this my new Build thread. It is a continuation of my original thread :http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43837
Well, i finally got my GT35R and well now i am really confused. It almost looks like someone took a dremel to the end of the shaft. Does...
Chatter Huh?
Oh, wow, yeah they do. I have been wondering why mine chattered so damn much!!! I thought my flywheel just hadnt been faced before the it was put in. thanks for the knowledge. Is there any way to reduce the chatter. It really sucks!
Exhaust is exhaust. If you really get a big single at some point, you might want to fabricate a 4" down pipe, but i don't think it will be necessary. 3" is more then enough flow for most people.
Yeah, that is why i decided to go with the 680s. It seemed like the best fit. I did the calcuations in class about a year ago,b ut i dont remember exactly what i got. i could redo them, but i am lazy. I think 680 will fit well. But if i do need a 200 dollar fuel rail, i guess i might go with...
