In the 2jzgte tsrm ('95 version) from page EG-519 and further it is described how this igf signal works (voltage: 4.5-5.5V, signal type, when it occurs etc.).
It's the troubleshooting part of the tsrm.
The volume of the part of your engine which has oilpressure is fixed. The volume of all canals, bearings, lines and whatever added up is fixed, so if 70psi is generated at the pump, 70psi is what goes into the turbo.
After the turbo it falls into the oilpan which is not a fixed volume of fluid...
Ow tissimo! you were probably dreaming away looking at this big boobed blonde in physics class... :boobs:
You should know that pressure spreads evenly in fluids in a fixed volume, so if the pump is putting out 70psi, thats what the turbo will get also.
The restriction on the turbo feedline is...
Yes it worked perfect before. I have asked a friend now to take a look at it and see if its fixable, but I'm also looking around for another one in case it has died.
OK, found the problem, it's the ecu.
I took it to my friends supra who has a very similar set-up, plugged it in and it also wouldn't start.
Gonna take it to another friend who can check it out, if not fixable I guess I'm gonna look for another one.
No, I checked them they're ok, and also I wouldn't have spark if cam/crank sensors would be the problem.
After doing some more searching here I susspect it might be a bad grounding somewhere, will be checking all this weekend.
Well I've measured a bit further and all injectors have 12V with the key in the 'on' position.
I also checked all the wiring between fusebox, injectors, ecu and emb and there is nothing wrong.
When I crank, both pins of the injectors keep the same voltage.
As far as I can tell the ecu is not...
I'm not from the usa but I guess it's the same over there; the place where you buy all sorts of automotive parts mostly also have a service to refurb starters and generators. If they don't they probably will know of a shop who does.
I have upgraded my injectors from 2jz 550's to SARD 800's.
The SARD's are high impedance, I checked, they're a bit over 14Ohm. So I took out the resistor pack which the low impedance 550's needed. I did this by cutting the wires after the round plug on the resistorbox side and connected all...
The relay on your starter is beginning to die. Just get it refurbished, should cost max $50 It's a pain to get the starter out though.
Next time it won't start, turn the key quickly and repeatedly from 'on' to 'ign' untill the starter reacts. Sometimes you will need 5x, sometimes you will...
1J mapsensor = 2.1bar
2J mapsensor = 2.3bar
both in absolute pressure of coarse
Putting a 2J sensor on a 1jz without fuel adjustment will indeed lean out the A/F's.
2J mapsensor in combination with 550's are a nice balance, like the lexus afm and 550's mod on a 7m.
