figgie, some cars did not come with TEMS equipped harnesses. I have opened 2 main harness now that did not have TEMS connectors on them. Both were 87 NA cars that didnt have the sports package.
Im going to keep using my 'cheap peice o shit' Wix filters. Hopefully it will never fail on me. :icon_roll Thankfully, to me, the best doesnt always equal the most expensive.
I have heard the buzz that states the 'R' series withstand more pressure but have never been able to confirm it. The only difference I know of is the flow rating and ADBV placement on the 'R' series.
I have to ask why you are bursting Wix filters? There is a problem somewhere. If you felt it was the filter then you should have been contacting Wix about it. They will find the problem and solution to it.
Seems as you had a bad expirience with one. The odds of a Wix filter failing are extremely low. The fact remains that, as far as filtration and value, the Wix outperforms most filters on the market.
I have always used Gates rubber for all my belts and hoses. Never had a problem with any of them. They have full listings for all of the hoses on a 7M.
Wix part # 51348 for a GTE 51068 for a GE
NAPA Gold # 1348 or 1068
Wix filters are not available through any Autozone. The 'best' normal filter they carry is a Fram. After that you have to buy the much more expensive K&N or Mobile One. Neither of which really outperform the Wix for the...

You didnt really just type that did you?
Oh, yes you did.
Check your radiator for cold spots when the thermostat is open as well as all the things IJ has pointed out.
I have found 'Somedata' to be extremely hit and miss when it comes to wiring pin-puts and diagrams. I wish you all the luck and hope it works out for your good.
YTMND!!
That was just the direction I needed to figure it out. The large yellow connector went to the engine harness. It had folded back upon the harness and had almost fallen behind the A/C evaporator box where I didnt look for it. The smaller one goes to the A/C amplifier. Will have to expose...
I have to know what part of it got you the most? Although you are standing on your head to do it, its 4 nuts, a hairclip pin or cotter pin if someone is really mean and one electrical connection.
The 'box' is the automatic transmission control unit. The fuse/relay box and wiper control are hidden by the harness dropping down. Blower motor and blower motor relay are connected already.
Been swapping and repairing harness this past couple of weeks. Using 2 different main harnesses to make one and repairing a GTE engine harness. I have a few stray connectors that I dont recall and cant place. The harness that I ended up using was from a car with TEMS and ABS which my car doesn...
