Well, I suppose if the car's not being driven or run it might work for a little while. ;)
Seriously though, if the hole is in one spot and is not big you could try temporarily patching it by cutting the hose at the hole, reconnect the two ends with a hose barb union and clamp the hose down...
You wouldn't just run some thicker fluid? :naughty:
I'm kind of surprised by this thread... is there something more to this? Or is this really a question of whether or not to replace a leaking hose?
Well, I couldn't find a 100A alt for the MKIII on NAPA's site, but I did find it on Champion's... they're mighty proud of that alternator. MSRP: $687.52 versus $242.72 for the 80A.
EDIT: DieHard Platinum FTW.
Have a link for that diagram? As it is right now I've got the purple from the MAFT Pro's 10 pin connected to the green wire from the LC-1 and that's it, do I need to ground those two somewhere additional?

Sylvania H6054LL or H6054... don't remember wich. They are VERY bright, ask Sl1deways, he's seen them. My headlights are rewired.

With that said, Genesis and Optima batteries won't charge any...
To put it simply, it represents how much power is available. It is possible to provide too much current to a circuit, but most are regulated well enough or aren't sensitive enough that you would have to worry about it with a stock automotive alternator.
BTW, there is a company here in the...
