Amen! VA7MGE, BHG stands for Blown Head Gasket... it happens a lot with 7M's and it isn't fun but once it's replaced and the bolts are torqued down with more pressure than the specs specify the next one should last a good long time. I don't see any reason to think that's the case here...

Actually, the wire you're looking for isn't part of the body harness... it's run from the switch to the motor. Also, it's grounded when the switch isn't used, so you need to disconnect that wire from the switch before applying power to it.
