Looking good man in a few days I am going to take my GTE motor that I got off a friend apart and see what I need to replace and then take out me GE and slap the GTE in. Let me know if you still have the MHG I need one and some arp head bolts.
yes some how putting the new harness on stopped the fuse for going out. I took all the loom off the old one and some of the wires were cut then taped back so I don't know if that was the prob.
I just read about your post on how to check the 02 sensor I am going to heat it up and check it with my multimeter. I just was thinking about the time i drove from a friends house with my O2 sensor not plunged in and I had no codes and and the car drove OK but had bad gas mpg.

you don't thing i should check anything? I just read up about going on a long drive first and then going strait to the smog place don't know if that would work I just went around the block then to smog. Yea I get down on Forza 3.
I just got back for a smog test only place. I have been reading peoples post on failed smog but need a bit of help.
The car is an 87 non turbo with stock header with no pre cat I put a friends Chevy s10 cat on that has been ran one time. (he used it on his 240 to pass smog and he did) with a...
no I don't push my car that hard it happen when I'm driving normally. I just got done putting the new engine harness on. But the starter is not turning been at it from 8pm last night till about 10 min ago I am going to give it another try tomorrow.
Got it just need to find a lite. I went to the junk yard today and got a different relay and a fuel pump resistor. I there a way to tell if the relay is bad? Like how may ohms or something?
Could it be the fuel pump overheating and popping the fuse for some reason and will not pop it once it cools down? Because that is what I think its doing. After siting for a while the car just starts.

That's what I was thinking but I can't find the test on TSRM. Because I have checked all of the wires and even took the fender off today to check that set of wires that goes from the fuse box to the fuse block in the floor board.
I keep popping the fuse when I am driving and don't know why. When It happens I check the wiring harness that goes to the fuel pump and everything looks good. Then I start checking the part where that harness connects by the driver floor and that looks good. Then It still pops it when I turn the...
It happens when I am driving on a hot day only and after leaving a stop lite. The pedal has pressure and will not go away until I let the car sit for a bit like turn it off over night.
I am having the same problem but only when it is hot outside. The pedal had pressure like I am applying the brakes. I have replaced the calipers and it still does it. Don't know what it could be maybe the brake booster. Any advise?
I would check the fuses too. Yesterday I went to kragen to get some oil and put a bit in my motor closed the hood and went to start my car and all it did was crank. Check the connectors to the fuel pump check the plug wires and the distributor and still wouldn't start then started looking around...
