welcome to the forum man. sorry to hear about the f@#ker that hit ya from the back. hope ya get it fixed soon and get back to boosting. Maybe we'll run into eachother when my build is done.
Almost got locked in at work today. Got so caught up in installing the vacuum lines (after finishing the water hoses) that I didn't notice it was almost time to go (15 minutes befor 7pm) Have to cut off the tie straps on the vacuum lines, and take pictures. Then Id like to make sure that the...
Maybe you have the money to waste... doesn't mean everyone else does. Its called making wise financial choices (not that owning a supra is one of them). Also realize that normally, when you buy a part, its not always as easy to get what you payed for it. That being said, I'd wrather do the...
hopefuly they gave you the right set. I ordered a set for my stock ic and it doesn't bolt up. The fender pipe is completely wrong. They sent one for a 89+ IC then were saying that I must have a aftermarket intercooler (87-88 IC's are different than the 89+ IC's) So now i have to cut and weld...
I love Falken Azenis. Had a pair on the front of my 240SX and plan on getting another set for my supra. Great tires. You feel wide tires are good under boost on turns Shaeff? Obviously speed is relevant to the angle of the turn as is how much throttle is applied. Im thinking that Its going...
Finally got my Samco Auxillary Engine hoses in. Going to see If i can't manage to get them installed on my 7M tommorrow (or by saturday) and also put all the Hose Techniques SVH's on the motor then start trying to get the motor back in the car. Expect crummy quality cellphone pics when done...
yeah, smaller diameter wheels turn more so more speed (if im not mistaken) and the profile allows more travel (i guess). So i have to compromise the nice looks of the low profile tires for the performance of a big ugly sidewall... sorry, its the ricer in me i guess.
you refering to camber? What would you do Ian? This is only for street driving btw. I love kicking the tail out. I drift (hence the avatar) but the 2 way lsd and upgrade in power and the fact that this is my first turbo car kinda intimidates me. Id wrather kick the tail out in a controlled...
because i plan on going wide body on my supra... dont mind that they stick out... that will be fixed in time... im just thinking that with the upgraded power my supra's gonna be making after the build im afraid of breaking the tires loose at full boost and possibly loosing control of the car.
I might as well since all I ever do is Bookmark pages for my car...

flat roll? to what? the inner lip of the fender? Streching the tire isn't a problem. We have a beat sitter at work so i can strech the tires but as far as im concerned, the wider the better.
yeah, coilovers will be something else i'll be looking into later on... planning on a stand alone befor coilovers. Have eibachs and KYB GR2's right now. So its possible to fit em on stock fenders? I got the 295 idea from a co-worker. Has a 1970 charger w/ 15x10's on the back and he said he...
well i was thinking of 295's... might be too wide tho... maybe 275.... not sure yet... they have a 27mm offset for the back and 24 for the front. Planning on eventualy putting wide body fenders front and rear on the car but wanted to know if i could pull em off w/o the fenders for now.
Anyone have wheels this wide on their supra? Im planning on getting a set of 17x9's for the front and 17x10.5's for the rear and i was wondering if i'd need spacers or if the wheels would stick past the fenders requiring to go wide body... anyone?
they are my factory lines. My high pressure line had to be modified because i was missing a piece that toyota has discontinued. I found that peice but mine was damaged so they made my pressure line a 1 peice. As far as the R134A those are just fittings that you can put over your existing R12...
Yeah, its all the auxillary water hoses for the motor. Already have an upper and lower radiator hose so all i needed was to freshen the motor up. The wait wasn't what was bothering me... It was the period of silence.. as long as im kept up to date im happy. Its not just on Steve, I have my...
Have to modify the IC Pipe from Lipp. Received my Rack & Pinion Spacers already. Also got a new reciver drier. Had a short portion of high pressure a/c line that bolts to the drier that was stripped but i managed to get that fixed and also converted the lines over to R134A. Almost have...
