Having the flange for my 50mm Tial BOV welded onto the upper IC pipe. Should have pics of that by next week.
Readjusted the electric fans. After checking the TSRM and realizing that the thermostat opens at 190* and not 180* I decided to adjust it to turn on at 200* and turn off at 173*...
Plastidipped the hood release latch above the IC in red. Gonna try to get pictures of that and maybe where i mounted the vertical stabilizers for the TMS Harness Bar.
Also going to replace 4 bad tail light bulbs and sand down the contact points for the tail light grounds. 4 of the bulbs can...
+1 for Redline MT-90. And I work for Ford as a tech and we dont do anything with the manual tranny's other than drain and fill. Theres no additives or anything for them only for the automatics.
Hey Ian, Is there really enough vacuum under idle to pull oil vapors into the intake manifold at idle? Id think that the only real problem would be under boost, having the oil vapors flow back through the turbo.
Im running a stock PCV setup but have a catch can placed between the pcv...
NP... I accept the good and bad criticism... I know I have things to fix still... but that'll be the next part of the build.
Nothing has really changed visualy... Still waiting to get the Tial Bov welded on the upper IC pipe. I'll post pictures of that but I still have no Seats so the...
It seems that the fuel lines are siezed in place. I take it one of the previous owners instead of fixing the seized lines and dropping the tank to change the pump cut a hole into the trunk to get easier access. Not my fault.
I also managed to get the car started again today...
This damn things annoying! It ran perfect yesterday. All I did was drive and park. Now it cranks but no start. Hopefuly its a no gas situation. I have no gas light on but we'll see.
Yeah, now just wait. Later you'll be hearing stories about me installing the BOV, gassing it and me falling off my brick because of all the power! :biglaugh: Hopefuly nothing else happens besides the fall off the brick.
Had that problem w/ a previous 240SX I had. I swapped out the seats but they had brackets and not sliders. Im short so I'd practically have to lay down in the seat to be able to drive. Im planning on NRG Integra Type R style (Black w/ Red Stitching) that come w/ sliders and a sparco base...
No sir. Haven't taken care of that yet. Lemme jump back to that thread... I don't exactly remember what was up. Think I had a problem w/ the pictures.... No, nvm, they worked fine. As I had posted to OneJArpus, I had put the dynamat on before getting the harness bar so I'm at a loss as to...
Seriously tho, Its almost as bad as getting married tho. Its like the damn Supra controls all the money! I dont know how people cheat on their Supra's w/ girls. So much damn money to throw around everywhere!!

10 pages? I got only 2... But thats my page setup. I got tired of all the little problems. Its either you rebuild the car and make it what it used to be (or a little more like me :bigthumb:) or you leave the car running like crap and curse the day you bought the Supra. I'd wrather have mine...
7 being a colder plug? I guided myself by the part numbers at Pep Boys when i was working there. I tried to get a colder plug than what they recommended... Go figure when i check the TSRM to check the gap it told me that what i had was the right plug. Pep Boys was gonna have me run a hotter...
well i've tried messing with the injectors like 3 or 4 times... tried using some O Rings from some used injectors to fix the leak but no go. First injector 2, then 4, then 5 twice.... so I got upset and called Toyota and stopped being cheap and ordered 6 Injector O Rings, the two crush washers...
If you have no boost leaks i dont see why the CO2 should get into the intake stream. I've been concidering for a while getting an CO2 sprayer to drop intake temps but it seems you guys are ageinst this??
what? make it fit? use a shoe horn? Im sure its do-able but im sure your doing what i did and throwing one behind the Radiator between it and the motor. Thats easy. Done that already. Im sure the front side is alot harder than the back.
