i had to stand in the engine bay on the shock towers and straight arm lift mine to get it to pop off.

same thing happened to my old n/a injector clogged and melted #2 i think it was.... atleast i think thats what happened seein as the injector for that cly was completely clogged shut. good luck with your rebuild! I didnt do that damage tho i bought it with a "blown headgasket" :icon_roll

my head felt like it was still on even after everything was off of it just from being on the motor so long i guess. It took a bit of strength to get it off. there was a hose that could be easily missed at the back of the head that might hold it on also.

ive searched and searched but i cant find what i need does anybody have a turbo AFM and n/a AFM side by side so you can see where the airbox mounts......kinda like this pic but side by side with both. im trying to see if i could mod the bolt holes on LIPP AFM adapter to fit the n/a AFM...

thanks our cars are almost twins :) my white fender had a rust hole in it and it was letting water sit in the well thus rusting out everything metal the water could find so i took a fender off my old 87 n/a after i parted it out and put it on, i dont have the tools to sand it down and repaint...
