Good chance it is the drive shaft center bearing. Others with this problem have describe it similar to what you just did. To check it is simple, crawl under your car and see if their is and side to side play in the support bearing. If there is You'll need this...

Yes, that is basically the equivalent of the longest gear available in the supra plus you have additional drivetrain loss because its 4x4.
