Nice. Those are the same rods/pistons I used on my old motor.
Make sure to build on the tight side with those pistons. With the short side skirts, mid to loose tolerances will cause piston slap until it warms up.
I can't see this killing a turbo..
I'm willing to bet a ton of people run an upgraded turbo on a completely stock setup without issue. The intercooler may be less efficient and will hurt the power outcome slightly but not the turbo.
The only down fall with this setup right now is the rich...
Seems like a decent price. Most importers will sell a complete motor for that price.
Do you have any more info on it? How many miles on it? Did they do a compression test?
I should apologise.
Your first response kind of got me the wrong way and I should have let it go.
Sorry for being a dick, I normally try to be more helpful on the forums.
Hope you're able to get your parts.
Wtf? Why would they tear you a new asshole?
Call the direct line, ask for parts desk and get a quote. If you can't afford it that's your problem not theirs.
Next time ill just post the number to some chat line.
I can't remember exactly but I think they assigned mine a value of $2000 maybe less. It was pretty rough with rust and high km's.
If you have any recent maintenance receipts submit them to the insurance company. They gave me something like 40% of the value of any upgrades done. Having rebuilt...
I went thru this with my last supra. Insurance will write it off if the damage exceeds 3/4 the value of the car.
If there is any frame damage (witch I highly doubt) it is a goner but if it is cosmetic you might just be safe.
Looks like bumper, fender, signal, nose piece and grill will have to...
B&G springs are supposed to sit a bit lower then the Eibach's.
I have Eibach's springs sitting in the garage for my car, I'll be pairing them with KYB shocks.
If I planned on keeping the lowering springs for more then a year I would go with Koni yellow shocks (but you are looking at $750 for...
Contact Ronniek, he makes front and rear subframe kit as well as steering rack bushings and you can pick different harnesses.

I'll be ordering mine this summer.
I see what you mean now.
Yellow light doesn't project as far a white light. People like the yellow bulbs for purely aesthetic reasons.
If you want to improve lighting look into Lexus fog lights. I can't find the thread right now but you can get brackets to retrofit them into a supra.
