Okay I took another look over my block, I had noticed this before but now its bugging me, The bent rod must have hit the very bottom of the Cyl wall on #1.
I have a tiny chunk of cyl wall missing, not big, rises about a 1/2" from the very bottom of the wall.
Will the piston rings at bottom...

could be the TPS, definately check to make sure its adjusted correctly. If its off your ecu could be pulling up the wrong fuel and ignition maps based on what it thinks is the correct throttle position when its not.

I think the Supra FAL fan is just a colored Flexalite 210 also, the 210 is a bit cheaper too.
