Okay, my only reason for thinking the sensor could cause this pull was the code I got from the abs computer. It was interesting to me that maybe a sensor could cause this pull so I reopened the thread to see what the supramania community would say and for the benefit of the forum. This has...
I replaced the calipers and the lines with new ones and the problem was still there..... No amount of money or time has been wasted here pal, its a 20+ yr old car and everything I have replaced was for the improvement of an aging car I use everyday. I replaced parts I needed to replace anyways...
I had a buddy of mine look at it five months ago when I was working for a shop. He is a mercedes master tech, and almost assured me it was abs related. I honestly blew him off because I didnt think it could be my abs. After trial and error and more error of replacing just about everything that...
I rather not put the abs fuse back in before I actually replace the speed sensor. I would like to first eliminate code 33 on the abs. Perhaps the sensor/code is not causing my pull. But its still there, and its something that needs to be fixed. Once the code is gone I will move on to replacing...
I dont need smart a$$ remarks from you dude... The reason I am still posting is so that future members can benefit if they encounter such problem.
Maybe you should have read the other part where the abs was deactivated and guess what..... No pull. I am looking at a faulty abs that was...
Alright guys.... Upon talks with some friends I decided to pull the abs fuse so that the car would go into the back up non abs braking system. And after months of this horrible pull I finally got to drive my supra and go straight when braking. So for now there is no problem, but I dont want to...
UPDATE
5 to 6 months later and nope.... I have not figured it out yet..... I have been much too busy at school and driving under 60 mph for a looong time now...... I finally looked into this braking problem and checked the codes on the abs. I have code 33, rear brake sensor. Do yall think this...
Hey guys, recently I swapped a 1JZ auto soarer transmission into my car. I started at about 2pm on a rainy day and got home from the shop I was using at around 4:30 am. We ran into a few problems but it all worked out great in the end. The car ran beautifully once the transmission was wired up...
Hey guys, last night I stayed up till 3:30 am at the shop swapping in a 1J auto transmission from a soarer. I changed all the electronics and swapped over the bellhousing and also the rear part to the drive shaft
(too tired to remember what its called) . Once done, we put fluid in and took...
I have New Bridgstone Potenzas, yeah... I did that... Put the Front right tire on the Left front side and vice versa.... Then I put my rear tires in the front and same thing...
(Update) Okay guys, I just changed the abs on the car and drove it back home from the shop... Its been two months since Ive driven my car :).... At 60 mph the car did not pull, at 80 mph it pulled to the same side but not nearly as hard, as I was regaining control of the car it then pulled to...
Thanks alot for the info guys, I had come to the conclusion it was a braking problem soo I was going to replace the abs..... Now, I came back to this thread and crap..... It can be a 3 or 4 other things lol... The problem is there even while going in low speeds, lets say 10 mph... Its just not...
Yes it is Moy, would the abs actually cause this thou? I have considered trying to replace the master cylinder.... My brake pads are even by the way......
Yes Poodles, I replaced all 4... And after that I replaced my right/passanger wheel bearing... A few weeks ago thou I replaced both wheel bearings again, just in case and same darn pull... :(
Thanks for the suggestion but the bushings seem fine, now I cant be sure they arent messed up but they dont seem loose or worn at all... I would replace them but it be a $500 try... And after much inspection of them, I am yet not convinced (I could be wrong) thats my problem..
