No there is not a sensor for the load, I think the problem is with your radio, there is an accessory line connected to the radio, which when the switch is Accessory or ON position it goes high to +5v and activates a solid state relay to turn the radio on, check this line. Based on what you said...
I really don't understand what is the problem, if they did not pay don't ship the order. I prefer to pay by Paypal on my orders, because I don't have give my credit card info , and the merchants get their money immediately. Paypal has a great resolution center, once they open a case they will...
I put spoiler on my 1986.5 Supra and found out the old struts can not support the weight of the hatch. I installed a pair of AMS4327, and these struts really support the hatch very nicely. Installing the struts was really a lot work, I had to remove all the plastic and rear seat to access the...
I took my out last year, make sure remove all screws around the face, may be start from the center top to pull it out. If I remember correctly put it back was much harder because you need to plug all connector, and there is not much room, all I can say start from right side start connecting the...
I agree for low price items like these I would buy genuine part rather than looking for a substitute , $1.35 is very reasonable price, even cheaper than after market stuff. once I bought thermostat from Autozone, it lasted only for few months and failed at the most inconvenient time, I replace...
contact tubbie , member of this forum, he is a great guy and has most stuff for supras. I am not sure pitch is 1.25 or 1.5 but also check these

I have two part numbers, AMS 4327 and Monroe 901455, but still can not confirm they are high pressure, I have sent email to several vendors to find out. Please let me know if you have used these parts, thanks
How much difference is between pre89 and later models, shineauto has only one style for pre89 which I don't care much about to pay $350, I wish there were more option. I really like this one
Here is the picture of lower bracket of hatch lift, I don't know what 1987 model looks like, but several after market places I inquired they say the lower bracket is the problem, I believe the rear spoiler was first introduced in 1987. but I need to find high pressure lift that are close enough...
Toyota shop repair manual states high pressure side 199-220 psi, the low is a bit tricky because depends on ambient temp and relative humidity but it states 30 psi@32F, mine reads between 40-45 psi if I remember correctly.
You have to check the pressure on high and low side of the A/C system, the high side is around 212 psi and very much constant if the compressor and duel switch are doing their job, and and low side is around 45 psi and go up and down a bit based on cabin temp. This is the first step, what A/C...
I went through rockauto catalog, I could not find anything definite, my supra is 1986.5 which has different hatch struts than 1987. I would appreciate if you give me some info to narrow it down, such as manufacturer and/or part number, it would be great, thanks
I recently put spoiler on my 1986.5 supra, but now the rear hatch jacks won't support the weight. I search the web but it looks like nobody makes high pressure jack or so called red sticker to fit my car, evidently the jack's bottom bracket is the problem. Does go about to solve this problem, thanks
