87 harness in the 89 with gray plugs?
in the second pic the 3 on the right are for a 87-88 ecu and the one on the left are for the body harness.
what are you trying to do? the body plugs between 88 and 89 are different.
no just make sure its 12v. thats all the switch does. usually if you take the switch apart and clen the contacts they will start working so try that first.
take door panel off, clean the contacts in the door switch, check to see if window works - no, unplug connector on the window motor, take 12v power to one wire of the motor and ground the other(if goes wrong way switch the wires around) - no put plastic or tarp over your car.
tb port and accordion hose into one port on the cc and the 2 valve covers into the other.
you want constant vacuum pulling the air from the valve covers threw the cc. if you tee the valve covers and tb port on the same line its not gunna go threw the cc and waste your time installing it.
check to see if you vent is on recirc or vent. also all the vents at the joining places are sealed with foam and after 20yrs its a good possibility that they have worn away.
you have to get non abs brake lines. but why would you want to remove it? its not full trac control and abs is only activated when you brake hard enough.
have the tires pointing straight and then put the wheel on in the correct position. also wheel balance will give you steering wheel shake.
edit: gaboon beat me to it.
chances are that the motor has been sitting in japan for 10 years before your friend bought it. that said i had a jdm engine and i replaced all the seals any ways and they really didnt look that bad and still soft but you wont have a clue weather or not they will leak or not until you put some...
