Your right IJ. but he got the head off and then asked questions ;)
As long as he hardness test the head, pressure test/check for cracks, and resurfaces the head he should be good to go with a stock style hg.\
P.s. that sucker was BLOWN.
Yeah i know that. Its usally a pain to get to and you should always flush out your oil system after a bhg.
Waiting 2-3 years and overheating everyday is by far one of the stupidest things i have every heard. REALLY they have a problem. So yeah stupid has to be in the name.
Usually its up to the officers digression.
Either way if they say your exhaust is too loud and give you a ticket your the one who has to pay.
Both of which are stupid since harleys have the loudest exhausts wait no they dont have mufflers and were getting tickets.
Idk. Why not either take the test pipe with you or measure the flange thickness of test pipe and dp and then add another 1/2 in for the nut and find the fattest bolt5 that will fit in the hole.
Its only a bolt and nut.
Either get your self
1. oil pressure tester gauge
2. stethoscope
3. long screw driver
4. maybe a long piece of hose
and listen for knock or verify that indeed it is not the gauge and your oil pressure is low.
No there are 5 different select fit bearing from toyota. You would either have to look at the back of your old bearings or look at the numbers on the block and crank to figure out which ones you need.
Or you could take the crank, block, and bearings down to a machine shop and have them line...
I usually just run a toyota rad cap since its only about 15$ from toyota.
The cooling system is under .9 bar or 13psi when hot.
Its normal for the hoses to get hard because of the pressure. Older hoses will be harder because the rubber is old.
p.s. bbc springs are only like 60$ new.
