Check engine light. Have to jump te1 and e1 in the diag box on the main engine harness and then turn the key to on position and count the flashes. There all 2 digit numbers.
Could be air bag, ect, or abs/ect.

You will have to look at the pins and see which wires are what.
Clean that out it should be orange.
As for the vac leak not causing a bad idle iirc jetjock proved some thing else. I had a bad idle from the power steering vac line unplugged. Also vac leaks is at the top of almost every trouble tree in the tsrm.
Remove the 2 screws on the side to remove the horn button and then iirc it's a 19 mm but could be a 17 mm loosen the nut but don't take off all the way and f,ing pull and shake. Some come off easier than others.
Did you mess with the cam/ crank timing at all?( timing belt)
Cyl1 needs to be on tdc compression stroke, make sure by pulling the spark plug and sticking a chop stick in.
When you put the CPs in the rotor tab needs to be slightly before( left) the fixed tab and when it's in the Tab needs...
I would just bend them back and weld on the out side of them(not where the eccentric hits the tab).
My old car did this and it was a pain to get aligned.
