Never had a new/reman pp fail. That seems kinda odd.
With stock pressure plate its not all the stiff and you have a lot of leeway being able to slip it. Pucks dont like to be slipped. They like to be on or off.
Nothing wrong with a act clutch.
Cant really feel the grippyness either. Its...
Also could be the timing cover if it was flush with the block. A mhg really needs the black and timing cover machined to be done properly.
Id also back the timing down to 10. 12 max.
Just pull off the oil cap off. It will let the most air out of there the fastest.
The tester will be the better way to about it but if you got some carb cleaner or brake cleaner on hand its worth a shot.
You should have a hole if the nipple is not there. Or at least a bolt.
It needs a 3/8 nipple and direct vaccum from the manifold.
Its right below the number 3 outline in this pic on the back of the manifold. All of them have it.
Set it to about 36psi.
Stock spec is 33-40psi. No reason to go to the max of the spec. If you have a wideband you can watch your afrs. But if your still on stock ecu it runs rich as hell under wot. Too much will cause problems.
Also you have the j tube bypassed or drilled out correct?
You should cause seen tons of ct's with a's. Non of them were turbo a's tho. If it has a bigger compressor wheel its prolly just upgraded,
Turbo a's had bigger turbine housing and wheels.
Nice build so far.
Dunno if someone already said it but if you get teh maft pro you wont need another boost controller. Maft pro has the option for 1 just need the solenoid.
