Actually it is. So long as it seals it will work fine. IF its slightly loose technically its not the correct gasket but that doesnt mean its not going to do the job.
Iirc its a 36mm. Maybe someone else can confrim.
But you might have to bang it out a little like with a rubber mallet, then it will come out and you can bang the stud out. have to repack the bearing or get new and repack before installation.

Ya the only thing stopping me from a 2jz was like 700 for the engine and i didnt want to bang the firewall so that would have been all the money for a the single as well.
Going about it all wrong. You bring the gasket in question with and you sift through everything and try and find a matching one. Cant just go by same make.
I just reused mine with no issues.
Could always try a exhaust shop to try and match one up.
When you went to auto parts were you looking for 1jz engine? Or were you just trying to match one?
No parts store is going to have 1jz in there directory in the us.

4 i dont think is for the 7m at least i dont ever remember seeing that except in a gasket kit.
