Idles great, and it ran fine when I drove it yesterday. I haven't taken it over 3K though, but I don't see any reason to drive it hard.

Got the head back and pretty much wrapped it up over the weekend. The intake cam gear ripped the skin off the top of my hand After some tech support from Scotty I got it running right :biglaugh: Drove it about 10 miles today with new gas in it and it seemed to run fine...

I'd keep looking. $2000 for a pre89 that is leaking oil and has a huge amount of miles is a rip off.

The interior is fine..few cracks on the dash and everything needs to be cleaned up from sitting so long.

Picked up this car earlier today (white/blue 5 speed), and got to work on it. I drove it about 15 miles and the temperature gauge fluctuated before finally pegging the top when I got to the house. The previous owner replaced the radiator, fan clutch, and some other misc. stuff when it started...

Yeah, the 2 bolts per side that mount the fog light assembly to the bumper. It was an M5 x.08 iirc..I returned it when it didn't fit. The M6 x 1.0 is too large for sure, it only threads one spin (I tried all 4 holes to make sure). I even tried another M6 x 1.0 bolt from the bumper to make...

M6 x 1.0 is too large, I just tried. I tried a M5 x 1.0 I believe and it was too small..

I'm trying to reinstall my fog lights, and I no longer have the bolts that actually mount the fog lights to the car. Does anyone know what dimension the bolts needed are? I went to Lowe's and bought a few different sizes and they were either too large or too small ::hang::

This is one of the most straightforward things you can do. As the picture shows it bolts on to the AFM. I'm afraid for your car.

How difficult is it to change the speedo gear in an R154? I have a feeling that's what is the problem with my speedometer not working.
