    Apexi AFC, Air Flow Converter

Well it all depends on what you're planning on doing with the car. Lots of people are ditching the SAFC to go with the Maft-pro. It doubles as a tuning piggy back and also a boost controller. I don't know a whole lot about how they work but there are some pretty comprehensive write-ups here in...

    Apexi AFC, Air Flow Converter

I wouldn't put a walbro in until you have a new fuel pressure regulator. Stocker may complain :( There is no point without new injectors that require that kind of volume. I think you're mistaken on what the SAFC does. It basically intercepts the AFM signal, adjusts, and sends to the ECU. This...

    Silent_sniper's build

Getting a FW resurfaced is only like 40 bucks, so it's worth it IMO. But, if you don't have any burn marks (like a deep blue/black metallic look) or cracking on the surface (you shouldn't be able to catch your thumb nail on anything) then it'll be OK. But then again, if you want that clutch to...

June Mini on the Rock (VI)

Keep an eye on http://www.bcferries.com/promotions/coastsaver.html Last time we went to Van for a mini, our way over was half price! And going to Sooke? As long as we don't eat at Mulligans I'm ok :P

    Coolant

Check to see if you've got coolant in the oil - looks like chocolate milk. If so, don't drive the car :) You'll fix your BHG then shortly after get rod knock. Your bearings don't like coolant.

    EURO Mirrors Question

Everything east of the Chunnel is LHD (I think!) If you got a set from the UK, then this would make sense why you can't get them to focus. You could always try and swap the mirror assemblies inside the mirrors though?

How can you order S2 Supra Bodykits???

I'd try the big order link on the top :) http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://s2.supra.gr.jp/&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Ds2%2Bsupra%26hl%3Den

Opinions on Price of Used Supra

It's an NA, rusty and worn interior. If you're serious about getting this car because of the low mileage, then I'd get it inspected. 2500$ is a lot to spend on an NA without first knowing the condition other things are in. Tires, exhaust, transmission, oil leaks etc etc. Get it inspected before...

    2008 Supra MKIII - Project 1BYDFALT

    coilover set up

There are so many factors to weigh here, that you're gonna have to give some more information. It also depends entirely on how much money you're willing to spend. A good set of stock strut replacements (Bilstein, Tokico, KYB to name a few) and springs (Eibach, Intrax, Tanabe etc.) will run you...

    Overheated while at idle...

85 outside and it over heated...I'd just check the easy things first -Thermostat (check w/ a pot of near boiling water and thermometer. Should open at 88 deg C) - Rad cap I'm not sure how to check, but it was only 15 bucks from Toyota - Flush your coolant a few times w/ the heater set to max...

    Homemade Sway Bars

I can measure up the stock diameter when I get home tonight John, at least this way you can use the same mounting brackets w/ new bushings. Too bad I *just* put in my sway bars ... =D

    SAFC and knock

Hah, that's unfortunate. Well, it should just be tapped into the knock sensor line. What exactly does the sensor output? If it's a pulse train, then I could scope it (pain in the butt while in the car) or if it's analog I can always check it with a multimeter. I can't seem to find in the TSRM...

    SAFC and knock

Hello all, Recently I've been playing around with my SAFC and came across the knock set function under settings. First off, does anybody know what these value's units are? I'm guessing knock/min as the motor is in rotations/min. But I'd just like to be sure. Also, what is an acceptable #...
