the power wire most likely isn't the problem, but while you're doing that, replace the ground also. Instead of going through the long ass wire that's already there, make your own ground.

are your headlights/dash lights/dome lights dimming with the deck? If so, the cheap way out is to add a capacitor, the CORRECT way is to get a bigger alternator and upgrade the grounds from your battery, and possibly even the power wires to the alternator

using your headunit to push (almost) ANY aftermarket speaker will be fine. They won't sound top notch because they aren't getting anywhere near as much power as they need, but they will be ok. As far as clarion :runaway:

The only problem I see with Optimas is that they are deep cycle batteries, meant to be drained completely then recharged. They're awesome to use as SECOND batteries for sound systems (as an aux battery for at car shows, etc...), but when they're constantly being recharged I don't know how well...

TTL's $.02: Seatbelts also have little "rip zones" in them (don't know the true name). They kinda unravel as they get yanked on really hard, to a certain extent. There's like 5-6" of unravel material in the seatbelt that's stitched up into a compressed zone; when substantial force is applied...

Your welcome Chad, that's what we're here for :) I'll tell ya that for the money, the Infinity Reference components REALLY do sound good. My mom has them in her Neon (powered by just the head unit) and they sound pretty fuggin good for $150 components with 5x7 rear fills.
