How do you figure that manually shifting a tranny will hurt it? Explain your thoughts and logically think about them as you type them. All you're doing is controlling WHEN it shifts, you aren't putting any extra stress on it at all...
EDIT: Almost forgot, Nice kill :D Gotta love takin down...
Well justin thanks for the input while I was away :icon_razz:
Infinity makes good shit for the price, don't get me wrong, but like Justin said, I was referring to 1400w rms. I pay no attention to max power ratings, as they're bull shit in every respect. In reference to your putting 900w to a...
I'll give you the overroll and the R.I.P.S. system (didn't know it's name), those were both DAMN good ideas. The whole thing about kicker though, I didn't hoot and hollar at all; I think, and have expressed on this very website, that the idea for a square sub is...well inside the box (pun...
First off, no I'm not "fighting the man". JL is quality equipment, but it's not this super god of all that everyone thinks it is and I'm sick of hearing that. JL's subs are good equipment, but only fall into the "decent" range as far as bang for your buck goes. How have they been innovative? A...
I'm sorry I had to be the first to step in and say this, but JL is NOT a "you get what you pay for" brand. You're paying for their name. Check out Image Dynamics subs, Hifonics brutus subs, TREO subs etc... At the same price point as a w7, these competitors offer a much higher quality subwoofer...
Not a bad deal at all!!!
I paid $1k for my car with a seized motor. Ice blue, ugly blue interior. All in mint condition, 130k on the car.
Paid $1300 for a motor that was SUPPOSED to have 550's in it (lied to by a member who has since been booted)
and probably have a good 2500 into fixing the...
measure it foo!! lol nice car, lucky you to have gray interior!! If you don't mind me asking, what'd you pay for it? Sorry if I missed it in the first post
shoot, someone already beat me to http://verticaldoors.com/custom.html oh well. Anyway, you get the idea. $1600...that'd be PRETTY damn hard to get 10 MKIII owners to come up with $1600 for door hinges lol. If I had $1600 layin around, I sure as hell would jump on in. If you can get this going...
That green (chartreuse) car is HAWT. I've been looking into vertical doors. Try verticaldoorsinc.com They do custom kits if we can get (I think it's) 10 people or more in for $1100
He has said many times that he will not offer a kit for those with a manual transmission for very good reason: liability. If he were to provide you with a kit to put a RS on your M/T car and you left it in first gear, smashing it into another car, a light post, whatever, he would be liable and...
Uhh...so wire up some red "accent light" LED's in the headlights on a toggle switch...:D I plan to do some blue corner lights here soon :)
I'm assuming it cost her her talon because of the road not being properly lit.
Tek, as much as I like you man, that writeup was EXTREMELY hard to...
Seeing pics of it on a supra, it does look bad. Looks good on a 240 and a corolla...why not on a supra? Oh well, back to the drawing board about my flush mounts with LED's :)
