Nice IS, I actually went the other way lol.. I had a 97 RSP SC300 NA-T, SC300 that i 1JZ swapped, had a nice black interior 5 speed SC300 too, 01 GS430, GS300 sport design.. went from that to MK3's lol now i'm on my 3rd MK3

that's cool, i hadn't ran into any locally, of course it is freezing cold now but last summer i didn't see much around when it was warm.. Guess maybe during this years ice cream cruise i'll see more of the local cars.

I'd like to make a Midwest meet, guess it will depend on how far away..... Just moved to Omaha earlier this year from South Carolina, so I haven't got to hang in the Midwestern car scene yet

Yeah i mean for not having been moved for two years you are correct it held up really well.. front tires are dry rotted, brakes where pretty bad, and the fuel came out a cloudy yellow like varnish. It's crazy the guy he sold it too lived a block away from him so he's seen it sitting...

What about converting to using an Aristo ECU? guess I would need an aristo harness and all, anyone think that would clear up the problem? are the Aristo ECU's known to have the same problems

Thanks for the input guys.. anyone else have this issue before? local guy is offering a new in box Tec3r new in the box with a few hundred dollars in other misc things i'll need for it, asking 1350 firm.. guess i'll jump on that..

See that's exactly the way i feel, I'm just not sure what the problem is, I was thinking maybe getting rid of the 550's with resistors and going to 440's would possibly fix it but i kinda hate downgrading to 440's.. the previous two ECU's lasted around a year each..

That's what i'm afraid, I can get a pretty good deal on a Tec3, I just don't have any other plans for the car HP wise so it seems like overkill buying a Stand alone.. I guess if it came down to it, i might not have a choice.. any idea what is causing it to burn up ecu's after time...

Hey guys i could really use some input here. 6 or 7 years ago a friend of mine put together a 1.5JZ Supra it ran great, he ended up selling the car to someone local, eventually the injectors basically started dumping gas whenever the car was on and it would basically drown out the motor...

The only thing that kept me from ever buying a MKIII was a 7M I had a few friends that had supra's and all of them had soo many problems with the 7M.. I eventually bought a MINT 92 Supra with full BPU 7MGTE and .57 Turbo, only 105,000 miles retorqued HG with new HG.. Loved...
