It just seems like a better product. While I doubt my mom can throw enough abuse at the almighty 7M to break anything, I still want the piece of mind that its not gonna come down to the "you picked the cheap ass ones for my car" debate.

Im building the car for my mom and I doubt she'll be racing, But If I can get forged with rings for around 800 then Id like to do that.

Whats a good set of pistons for around $700-$800? I was thinking about reusing the old ones I have but theyre getting some pretty heavy buildup on the heads (Think I was running to rich).

Does anyone have some videos of the Group A supra from 87. I saw IJ's Group A oil pan and remembered how awesome I thought it was to see my favorite car in my favorite sport.

Heres some pics of my 87 I gutted awhile ago. No clue what it weighed with everything out. Ive done more since then, like cutting away all of the foam from the dash, removing the firewall sound proofing. Still need to lose some of the extras in the engine bay and going to an aluminum...

I live in cali and the only people I see going into the hollister store are those 40'ish year old ladys that still think they can wear belly shirts and get there tongues pierced.

So is there any use for powdercoating?

I need some opinions. I plan on painting my engine but Im worried about the paint/coat flaking off, especially in the areas around the turbo since its gonna generate alot of heat. Ive got a can of 1200*F Dupli-color paint but I dont want to start painting my exhaust manifold and then find out...

I think it only throws a code for the 88' and up California cars. I have an 87 and an 88 both without VSV's and only the 88 shows a CEL.

Id say its all gonna come to whos the better driver. what are these "small little things" your doing?

I just cleaned some cams from my supra that have 266,000 miles on it (original cams) and I see no trace of this mystery fluid stuff on them at all. The car ran fine before so I dont think its a big deal as long as you oil them.

You have any pics cause I just cleaned my cams today and have no clue what everyones talking about...

Im kinda lost here, But Im gonna guess the cam seal too, or maybe the valve cover. Theyre easy fixes and shouldnt be that hard to check.

7MPower.com shows the top 2 running Wisecos, and everyone under that pretty much going JE's or stock. Im impressed the stock bottom end goes into the 500 HP range...maybe I wont need to upgrade after all.
