The whole steering rack, supension, wheels, and the subframe. Then have the car on stands with the engine hanging from a hoist. Safe? No. Pulling engines not bad, You can do it in 2 maybe 3 hours.

The pan cant make it around the pump while its in the car, you can put the car on jacks and drop the rack but Its easier just to pull the whole engine IMO. Side note: I think our cylinders are kinda V shaped cause I cant pull a piston out from the bottom of the block. I can only remove them...

have you checked for any leaks in your intake/manifold? I wonder if your JDM airbox might be the problem, we can switch it with a stocker when you get here if you want.
