guys running single turbo with big boost. My 60-1 turbo has cracks In the turbine housing right before the v clamp to the down pipe. Has anybody had this problem? would this cause turbo flutter? Can I just get it welded? Here's a pic this is not my turbo but the cracks are where the red lines are.

It will still sound stock at idle. I had a down pipe and test pipe along with my dragger on my old 7mgte and it was still quiet. With a nice rumble at wot.

the ks's are under the intake manifold. in between the alt and the starter. on the side of the block.

For what it's worth. I know this doesn't make sense. I couldn't figure out why , but when my coil packs went out It did the same thing to me. It went lean 15s, when i would try and accelerate. I bought all new coils and it ran great after that.

found this for $800. Got it running but needs a cps. super clean inside and out. original center console, a/c works, turbo sticker on door, Light in door handle works. Jack had never been used, targa tool. A real steal.

My 1j stumbled real bad at high boost. Turned out to be the coils.

Oh. Yeah it can't hurt buy it slap it on. If nothing changes you'll only be out $3. But it helped me. Oh yeah and thanks san supra.

That's probably not why you have that hard start. At least I don't think. But that will give you a idle problem for sure. It happen to me once. My car would idle real low and some times stall. I got lucky one day when i was messing with something totally different, and by chance had my ear close...
