I think you are missing the point. The truck only needed maybe three quarts to be at the full mark on the dipstick. Those motors hold a lot of oil so three quarts is nothing unusual. He filled the engine full, as in beyond the crankcase and into valve area.
I have seen people that dense before. I had a private in the Army that I told to “top off” the oil on the 5 ton truck. I saw him walking out with the 5 gallon can of oil. Out of the corner of my eye, I see him come back in and get another can. I figured the first can was probably...
Yeah, I have never pulled an engine with hooks before. I have always bolted the chain to the block. I did move my 2J around by the hooks in and out of the van for transport. Reason I am curious is I am pulling a 7M this weekend out of the 92 I just bought.

Just call Champion/Jay Mark's Toyota @ 800-327-2087 and ask for Jeff. He has all the info on the part numbers and he is the cheapest if you are buying new.
As far as the TB, I doubt you will outflow the stock one any time soon. Spent that money on ARP studs versus the stock head bolts that...
I would get the greddy replica front, bomex sides, and bomex rear skirts. That is the most tasteful kit I have seen. I am not much on the vents and stuff. I havent seen a rear skirt that I like on the MK3.
