Hi ross79,
So the Andy's Auto Sport order did not go well. The site allowed me to add the items to the cart and check out, but it turns out nothing was in stock.
This could happen on any website, but I was more disappointed that they didn't update the listing to say not in stock when I...
That is a fair point, I only like Tein because my friend has had really good experiences with them on his Miata over other brands. No idea how their Supra products hold up.
Multiple people at work sent me this last week:
http://carbuying.jalopnik.com/here-are-ten-of-the-best-turbo-cars-on-ebay-for-less-th-1711423705
It is a list of cars that are/were? on eBay and a MKIII was at number 5 with some very kind words :icon_bigg
(Apologies if this went out...
Recently Jalopnik stated that the MKIII Supra is finally a collectible. So who knows, maybe the power is soon to come?
http://carbuying.jalopnik.com/here-are-ten-of-the-best-turbo-cars-on-ebay-for-less-th-1711423705 Number 5 on the list!
Personally I would love to see Tein make TEMS...
I think this is meant to be.
Andy's Autosport has the fronts (EU3634) and THMotorsports has the rears (EU3635). Just about $520 altogether and now the really painful parts waiting begins!
Congrats on the sale! Hopefully the new owner will keep the car inside for the winters, as salt is a terrible thing!
I am trying to see what those Bruce Titus people can offer, since I am local.
But there is good news. I contacted another online dealer and they told me restock comes in...
Some financial woes kept me from buying the Tokicos until now. Went to order and they appear to be out. I guess it is time for my "Vega Shock Waiting Journey" :(
(I am looking into just buying the original Toyota ones now, cost is only about $160 more than the Tokicos were at the best price.)...
Sounds like a project! Make the ultimate 7M head!
Exciting news, not looking at my bank account for two months allowed it grow enough to order the Tokico Illumina II shocks!
Time to let those old 25 year old shocks on there now have a rest :P
From watching the video I assume potato means dial up friendly video quality :P
Really nice pics of the engine. It looks like it belongs in that engine bay!
So wish there was a 7M-GTE with VVTLi...variable valve timing with lift is one of the three things I miss the most from my S2000.
Every time I get ready to buy parts something horrible happens : (
March Motorcycle tire puncture: $400
April Root Canal: $800
Remaining parts budget: -$$$
Rumor has it the overtime is opening up at work, so I might be saved though!
Doh, I missed out too. The morning of the post this ruined my rear motorcycle tire, so I spent the rest of the day getting screwed out of too much money for a replacement :(
Looking forward to future meets!
My car is always at the ready for meet ups. And for the first time since I bought it the brakes are dead silent so I don't have to be embarrassed to meet up with people anymore. (Darn mechanic I took the car to before I had a garage threw away all the anti-squeal hardware...)
Before the month...
